(Creston) A Creston woman faces drugs and weapons charges.
Police arrested 40-year-old Heather Marie Davis at her residence on Sunday evening. Officers charged Davis on a Union County Warrant for 12 counts of Dominion/Control of Firearm/Offensive Weapon by a Felon, five counts of Controlled Substance Violations, and Failure to Affix a Drug Stamp. Police transported Davis to the Union County Jail, later transferred her to the Adams County Jail, and held her on a $90,000 cash bond.
Creston Police arrested a West Des Moines man on Thursday at 300 Pine Street on a Department of Corrections Warrant for Violation of Probation on an original charge of 3rd-degree Kidnapping and an amended bill of Burglary 2nd, a Class C Felony. Creston Police transported Corfits to the Union County Jail and later released him on a $1,000.00 cash bond.
Creston Police arrested 38-year-old Mathias Cory Becker of Creston on Saturday in the 200 Block of N Birch. Police charged Becker on an Adams County Warrant for Possession of a Controlled Substance 2nd Offense. Authorities released Becker to Adams County.
Creston Police arrested 31-year-old Amanda Marie Steinbach, of Lorimor, in the 500 Block S Oak, on an Adams County Warrant for Failure to Appear. Steinbach was released to Adams County.
