(Creston) One person suffered minor injuries in a two-vehicle accident in Creston.
Police say the accident happened at 5:19 p.m. on Tuesday at Highway 34 and Pine Street.
According to the report, a 2005 Chevy Malibu driven by 22-year-old Harry Francis Metzer of Ottumwa traveling west on Highway 34 attempted to make a left-hand turn onto Pine Street and collided with an eastbound 2013 Ford Explorer driven by 53-year-old Jeffrey Scott Conklin of Bridgewater.
An adult female passenger traveling with Conklin was transported to Greater Regional Hospital in Creston for treatment of minor injuries.
Police cited Metzger for failing to yield upon a left-hand turn.
