(Atlantic) Two people suffered non-life-threatening injuries in a two-vehicle accident in Atlantic on Monday morning.
The Atlantic Police Department says the accident happened at 8:00 a.m. at Highway 6 and Olive Street.
Police say Jess Caudill of Atlantic was driving south on Olive Street, entered the intersection, and was struck by an eastbound vehicle driven by Clarence Lynch of Willits, California. Lynch told Police the glare from the sun blocked his vision and proceeded through the intersection. Police cited Lynch for Failure to Yield a Stop Light.
Lynch and a passenger were taken to CCMH with non-life-threatening injuries.
