(Harlan) The Shelby County Sheriff’s Office released its monthly arrest report on Monday. The report lists seven arrests that are posted below.
March 1- Faith Merritt Peterson, age 42, of Harlan, was arrested on an active Shelby County Warrant. Peterson was charged with Violation of Probation.
March 7- Sarah Elizabeth Koester, age 33, of Harlan, was arrested following a traffic stop at 1600th St and Hwy 59. Koester was transported to the Shelby County Jail and charged with Driving Under Suspension.
March 10-Benjamin Tomoya Sorensen, age 33, of Harlan, was arrested following a traffic stop at Umbrella Rd and Hwy 44. Sorensen was transported to the Shelby County Jail and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance 3 counts, Keeping Premises or Vehicle for a Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Improper Rear Lamp.
March 11-Michael John Tremayne, age 31, of Harlan, was arrested following a traffic stop at 7th St and Elm St, Harlan, IA. Tremayne was transported to the Shelby County Jail and charged with Driving While their License was Denied or Revoked, Operating without Interlock Device, Failing to use a seatbelt, Failing to Provide Proof of Financial Liability, and Driving at the same time, their License is Suspended, and Failure to Transfer the Title on Motor Vehicle.
March 12-Michael John Tremayne, age 31, Harlan, was arrested following a traffic stop on Spring St, Harlan, IA. Tremayne was transported to the Shelby County Jail and charged with Driving While their License was Denied or Revoked, Keeping Premises or Vehicles for a Controlled Substance, Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
March 18-Lucas Badillo-Rubio, age 30, Harlan, was arrested following a traffic stop on Hwy 59. Badillo-Rubio was transported to the Shelby County Jail and charged with OWI 1st, Open Container, and Failure to Maintain Control.
March 19-Lacy Jean Christensen, age 34, Council Bluffs, was arrested on an active Shelby County Warrant for Violation of Probation. Christensen was transported to the Shelby County Jail.
