(Greenfield) The Adair County Sheriff’s Office reports four arrests.
20-year-old Ashlen Marie Knutsen, of Bridgewater, is charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. 30-year-old Cristian Ortiz, of Adair was arrested on an outside warrant. 21-year-old Lindsey Lee Gay, of Ames, is charged with Interference with Official Acts. 20-year-old Lacey Ray Breece, of Greenfield was arrested on a warrant.
Knutsen was pulled over in the 400 block of SE 4th Street in Greenfield late Thursday night. Law enforcement reported an odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. A search of the vehicle lead to the discovery of two used orange THC vape pens, a THC oil cartridge, and a clear plastic container containing a green bud like material.
Ortiz was arrested at the intersection of 5th Street and Stuart Street in Adair on Thursday evening. The arrest was on an active Dallas County, TX warrant for Assault of Peace Officer and Possession of a Controlled Substance.
At 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, Gay was contacted law enforcement upon arriving to a 911 call on the 76 on ramp of Interstate-80. Gay stated her boyfriend had dropped her off on the side of the road and stolen her car. Upon running Gay’s information, an arrest warrant for Failure to Attend OWI Post Treatment was found. Gay also faces a charge of Interference with Acts. Upon arriving at the jail she refused to give up her personal property including her phone. Gay reportedly flung her shoe at the jailer, while kicking and wrapping her legs a police officer.
Breece was arrested early Saturday morning on a warrant for Criminal Mischief 2nd Degree and Operating a Vehicle Without Owner’s Consent.
