(Corning) The Corning School Board on Monday approved the 2023-2024 Fiscal year certified teacher contracts. Schools Superintendent Chris Fenster says the settlement agreement included a 3.11 percent package increase and a $600.00 increase to the base teachers’ salaries.
New school board member Adam Boswell took the Oath of Office in another business item on Monday.
The board also approved Proctor Mechanical Corporation’s bid of $718,000 for the HVACC project at the Activities Center. Fenster says the project will start in early August, with completion set for October.
The Corning School Board also set March 30 for publication, and April 17, for a public hearing on the 2023-2024 Budget.
