(Winterset) The Madison County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Bristow, Iowa, man on numerous charges related to a stolen vehicle and firearms taken from a Creston residence.
According to the press release, at around 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, the Madison County Sheriff’s Office received information that a stolen vehicle and firearms were taken from a residence in Creston. Responding Deputies located the stolen vehicle. A pursuit followed that ended in the 1000 block of Highway 169. Deputies arrested 37-year-old Timothy Kavanagh, who tried to get away on foot.
Authorities turned Kavanagh over to the Union County Sheriff’s Office, where he’ll face numerous charges related to the stolen vehicle and firearms.
The Dallas County Sheriff’s Office, Van Meter Police Department, De Desoto Police Department, Iowa State Patrol, and Iowa Division of Public Safety assisted the Madison County Sheriff’s Office.
