(Pottawattamie Co) The Pottawattamie County Board of Supervisors this morning approved the sale of the Avoca Shop.
The Secondary Roads Department has consolidated shops to reduce operating costs and several of the shops no longer serve the needs of the Secondary Roads Department. One of those shops is located in Avoca, which was listed by an agent to be sold to a private buyer.
In other news, the Supervisors set a public hearing on the FY 2023-24 budget for April 18th at 10:00 a.m. They also approved a request from ISAC for $600 to support the Soil Compaction Study by Iowa State University.
