(Atlantic) The Atlantic City Council on Wednesday approved the sale of a city-owned dilapidated property at 1310 Chestnut Street.
A bid was received from Jay and Kelsi Eden for $1.00 for the purchase of the property. Kelsi Eden said they have been busy getting estimates to remodel the home, which is in serious disrepair. Kelsi Eden said the basement needs saved, the home needs a new foundation, there are trees that need to be removed, the addition is pulled away from the house, there are holes in the house and it all has to be torn out.
Eden said it usually takes an average of about six months for them to “flip” a home, but this project may take up to a year.
