(Des Moines, IA) — Governor Kim Reynolds’ government reorganization bill is ready for debate in the Iowa House. The nearly 16-hundred page proposal to reduce the number of state agencies from 37 to 16 will save the state more than 12 million dollars annually. That’s according to the Legislative Services Agency, which says the bill would cut more than 200 full-time positions.
