(Pottawattamie Co) The Pottawattamie County Board of Supervisors on Tuesday approved a resolution for the property tax levy for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2024.
The approval followed a hearing in which there were no public comments. Becky Lenihan, Tax and Finance Officer with the Pottawattamie County Auditor’s Office explained the details on the levy.
The resolution states that the maximum property tax dollars for the affected tax levies for fiscal year ending June 30, 2024 shall not exceed the following total: total maximum levy for affected property tax levies for General Services $41,616,001, and for Rural Services $6,880,242.
