(Shelby Co) An Irwin man died in a two-vehicle accident in Shelby County Thursday afternoon.
The Iowa State Patrol says the accident happened at 3:01 p.m. on Shelby County Road M47 south of Irwin. 20-year-old Grant Gaer was pronounced deceased at the scene.
According to the report, Grant Gaer was driving a 1995 Toyota Camry north on M47 and crossed the center lines. The Toyota entered the southbound lanes and struck a transport van.
The occupants of the transport van were uninjured.
