(Griswold) First Responders were called to a single-vehicle accident south of Griswold on Sunday evening.
The Cass County Sheriff’s Office says the crash happened at 8:50 p.m. on 540th Street and Wichita Road.
According to the report, a 2020 Nissan Altima driven by Hannah Kelly of Red Oak swerved to miss a deer. The car went out of control and entered the east ditch on 540th Street. Griswold EMS transported the occupants to the Cass County Memorial Hospital with minor injuries.
The Nissan received an estimated $3,000 in damage.
In other news, The Cass County Sheriff’s Office arrested 54-year-old Tony Mayo of Atlantic on Thursday for OWI, 1st Offense. Deputies transported Mayo to the Cass County Jail and held him pending his later release on his own recognizance.
