(Red Oak) The Montgomery County Board of Supervisors held a public hearing on Tuesday morning for the Stanton Technology Park Subdivision Plat.
Stanton Community Development Director Jenna Ramsey, the board of directors from the Stanton Industrial Foundation, and the Stanton Child Resource Center appeared at the Public Hearing to explain the details of the project. Ramsey says the Stanton Area Industrial Foundation owns the property, and the Stanton Child Resource Center would be the first business located at the Technology Park.
Ramsey says the Technology Park will be served with full fiber optic service through FMTC to accommodate businesses heavily reliant on technology and connectivity.
Ramsey says the dirt work has started, and the first goal is to complete the Day Care Construction project. Bids will be going out this spring, with construction scheduled to begin this summer. Ramsey, the project has a timeline of three-to-five years.
The Supervisors voted across the board to approve the Subdivision Plat.
