(Lenox) The Lenox and Griswold School Boards voted unanimously at Wednesday’s joint meeting to extend the superintendent-sharing agreement for the 2023-2024 and 2024-2025 school years.
The two districts are in the seventh year of this agreement. Henrichs has served in this role for all seven years.
Henrichs received a one-year extension of his contract with a four-percent salary increase. Henrichs will also get a cash payment for not participating in the school’s health insurance plan.
The districts will split Henrichs extended one-year salary contract from $155,000 to $162,000 starting with the 2023-2024 school year.
The sharing agreement has saved each district $100,000 per year. Each school has saved nearly a million dollars over the past seven years.
