(Avoca) The timeline for the AHSTW School project has changed a bit as the School Board had to reject bids at Thursday’s meeting.
Superintendent Darin Jones said unfortunately they did not receive a bid in the area of an electrical contractor so that is one of the areas that they are going to have to rebid.
Jones said they hope to re-let the bids around the 25th of January and their timeline will be established from that point.
This project is all part of a $12.9 million bond issue approved by voters to fund improvements to the existing K-12 facilities along with building an addition on the west side of the building that will add a new wood and metal shop, family and consumer science classroom, business classroom and high school music room.
