(Adair Co) The Adair County Sheriff’s Office arrested 26-year-old Austin John Worthington, of Casey, on January 2nd for Theft 2nd Degree, Theft 4th Degree and Criminal Mischief 3rd Degree.
According to the report, Worthington had an agreement to purchase a pickup from another individual. The agreement was that Worthington would not drive the pickup until it was paid for, registered in his name and he had his own insurance for the vehicle. Worthington ignored that agreement and, in the process, damaged the vehicle.
He was held in the Adair County Jail on $7,000 cash or surety bond.
