(Avoca) Bids for the AHSTW School Building Project are due Friday, January 13th at 1:00 p.m.
Superintendent Darin Jones said the bidding process began in December.
Bids will be opened at 3:45 p.m. on Friday, January 13th.
Jones said if all goes well, they hope that construction can begin on the outside portion of the building by the middle of March.
This project is all part of a $12.9 million bond issue approved by voters to fund improvements to the existing K-12 facilities along with building an addition on the west side of the building that will add a new wood and metal shop, family and consumer science classroom, business classroom and high school music room.
