(Carson) Pottawattamie County Emergency Management says City of Carson water customers need to immediately conserve and reduce water consumption. A water service main from the city wells to the city water treatment plant has frozen. Workers have been working to restore the flow of water but have not been successful due to the harsh temperatures and location of the frozen pipe.
The community will be notified as soon as the flow of water to the plant has been restored.
Update Saturday Morning: As a precaution, the City of Carson has issued a boil order for the entire community until further notice.
