(Corning) The Adams County Sheriff’s Office arrested numerous individuals on different charges throughout the last week.
On December 18th around 12:42 a.m., Adams County Sheriff’s deputies conducted a traffic stop for Failure to Maintain Lane at Quincy street and 10th street in Corning. After investigation, deputies arrested Lincoln Alan Calvin, of Lexon, IA for OWI 1st offense with a BAC of .218. Calvin was also cited for Open Container.
On December 17, Deputies conducted a traffic stop at Chestnut Ave and 160th street. 50-year-old Jamie Calkins of Corning was arrested for Operating while Intoxicated 1st offense, a serious misdemeanor. Calkins was transported to the Adams County Jail and was bonded out on a $1000 bond.
On December 16, the Adams County Sheriff’s Office received a report of an assault at Hy-Vee in Corning. Upon further investigation, deputies arrested 52-year-old Rhonda Thompson of Corning. She was charged with Assault Causing Bodily/Mental Illness and Harassment 2nd degree/hate crime. Thompson was taken to the Adams County Jail and is being held on $3000 cash only bond.
On December 12, deputies arrested Kelley Malone of Corning following a traffic stop. Malone was charged with driving while suspended and cited for Fraudulent use of Registration, as well as Failure to Provide Proof of Financial Liability. She was released to herself pending a court appearance.
