(Des Moines) A Wind Advisory is in effect from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday for most of the state. Currently, the southwest Iowa counties in the Advisory include Audubon, Guthrie, Cass, Adair, Adams, Union, Taylor and Ringgold.
The National Weather Service says southeast winds of 25 to 30 mph with gusts of 45 to 50 mph is expected.
Use extra caution when driving, especially if operating a high profile vehicle. Secure outdoor objects.
