Iowa DNR Reports Preliminary Numbers From First Shotgun Deer Season

(Des Moines, IA)  —  Iowa deer hunters have taken 21-thousand deer so far during the first shotgun deer season, which ends Wednesday.  The second shotgun season is December 10th through 18th.  The DNR estimates 100-thousand hunters will participate in the two seasons.
