(Creston) A Creston man suffered injuries when his Ecotric Bike broadsided a car.
The Creston Police Department says the accident happened at 5:33 p.m. on Friday at the Spruce and Howard Street intersection. Police say 18-year-old Logen Quinn was taken to the Greater Regional Medical Center in Creston and later airlifted to Mercy Hospital in Des Moines.
Authorities say Quinn was northbound operating an Ecotric Bike, ran the stop sign at the intersection, and struck the side of a 2006 Chevy Silverado K150 pickup driven by 39-year-old Raymond Anthony Harris. Quinn was ejected from the bike and landed on the street. Harris was not hurt.
The impact knocked the front wheel off the Bike. The pickup sustained a broken window.
