(Fairfield, IA) Bad grades may be the motive behind two Iowa teens killing their Spanish teacher. Today, on the one-year anniversary of Nohema Graber’s death, a judge will hear arguments on whether to dismiss evidence against Willard Miller and Jeremy Goodale. The defense argues that some of the evidence was illegally obtained, including comments Miller made to police about frustrations with Graber’s teaching style. Court documents filed yesterday say Miller had met with Graber to discuss his poor grades the day she was killed. Miller’s trial is set for March 20th, and Goodale’s trial is set for December 5th. Both, now 17, will be tried as adults.
