(Holstein) Mason McCready, Carly Henderson, and Bailey Richardson are moving on to the state cross country meet for Riverside.
McCready ran 6th in the boys race at Ridge View on Thursday to earn a repeat trip to Fort Dodge. The junior clocked a time of 17:47.
Carly Henderson ran 7th in the girls race in 20:56 and Bailey Richardson finished in 21:26 to place 9th.
Other Riverside boys finishers were Brody Henderson 13th, Eric Duhachek 21st, Dawson Henderson 24th, Caleb Stevens 31st, Teegan Schechinger 34th, Dalton Smith 62nd
The Riverside boys were six points away from a state qualifying spot as a team with 88 points. Ogden won the team title with 57 points and Sioux Central grabbed the second spot spot by scoring 82.
The rest of the Lady Dawgs saw Lydia Erickson place 29th, Brecken Pierce 35th, Danika Feigenbutz 39th, Becca Cody 42nd, Veronica Schechinger 56th. They placed 4th as a team.
Advancing as boys teams were Ogden and Sioux Central. Qualifying as girls squads were Sibley-Ocheyedan and Alta-Aurelia.
