(Atlantic) The State Historical Society of Iowa’s Mobile Museum will bring its’ brand-new exhibit to Produce in the Park in Atlantic on Thursday.
Produce in the Park Manager Brigham Hoegh says the mobile museum is a 300-square foot exhibit housed in a custom-built Winnebago loaded with 56- artifacts and videos exploring 13,000 years of Iowa history, from its earliest residents to those who call it home today.
The museum offers free, self-guided tours and is handicap accessible.
Produce in the Park is open from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. in the Atlantic City Park at 10 West 7th Street in Atlantic.
In addition to the mobile museum, this week’s Produce in the Park features live music, games, nearly 20 vendors selling local food and crafts, a guest chef sharing recipes and free samples of gazpacho, and food trucks serving BBQ, Tropical Snow, and Tex-Mex.
