(Cass Co.) The Cass County Board of Supervisors this morning approved a funding agreement with the DOT for bridge #32.
Cass County Engineer Trent Wolken said bridge #32 is on 680th over the West Nodaway River. The bridge is currently embargoed at three ton. He said the plans are almost complete and a letting is set for November.
In other activity, Wolken said work has started on bridge #432 on Boston Road. He said they had pours on Monday and Tuesday and will have another one today, so that is moving along quickly.
Wolken also noted that Gus Construction would like to start on bridge #182 on 610th/Chestnut south of Atlantic as soon as possible. He said they can’t start until the DOT signs the contract, but they could potentially close that bridge Thursday.
