(Stuart) Stuart, Iowa Firefighters, responded to a tractor-trailer/pickup accident Saturday on westbound Interstate 80 near the 92-mile marker. According to the report on the department’s Facebook page, firefighters found the trailer fully engulfed in flames. All occupants were able to escape the accident without major injuries.
The Stuart Fire Department thanks the Iowa State Patrol, Stuart Rescue, and the Iowa Department of transportation for their assistance at the scene. “All departments working together made it possible for all personnel at the location to make it back safe.
