(Atlantic) The Atlantic School District implemented two new math curriculums this year, “Bridges and Envisions.”
Atlantic Schools Superintendent Steve Barber says the Bridges curriculum is for elementary students and envisions for high school students. Barber says the new programs are more of a critical thinking piece for those students struggling with math to grow and understand math in more of a concrete situation.
Barber commends the staff for deciding on the two curriculums and working hard to take the essential concepts within the curriculums and implement them in the classroom. “They did a lot of work this past spring and summer, and each day.”
