(Atlantic) The annual “Top Shot” fundraiser is wrapping up this weekend.
Erich and Tammy Wickman of Wickman Chemical host the event at their shooting range each year to raise money for the Atlantic Police Reserves Kids Programs. He says up to this point, the fundraiser generated over $7,000, and he expects to raise another $2,000 before it ends on Saturday with the annual Republican Party Shoot and party fundraiser at 6:00 p.m. that evening.
Wickman says Saturday starting at 9:00 a.m. is the Republican Shoot in conjunction with “Top Shot.”
Glen Smith of Atlantic and President and CEO of the Farm Credit Administration in Washington D.C. commends the Wickman’s for putting on this annual event.
Wickman says kids are welcome. There will be door prizes and activities, and Steve Livengood will also have his military weaponry collection on hand. The cost to attend the steak dinner is $25.00 per person. For more information, contact Wickman Chemical at 243-7739.
