(Audubon) Heartland Business Systems will continue to provide IT Support in Audubon County until new IT Director Brennan Schulte gets acclimated to his position.
Audubon County Board of Supervisors Chairman Doug Sorensen says Schulte is in his first full week on the job and is going to be a great addition. “Brennan actually started on Friday and he’s trying to get up to speed. It looks like he’s going to work out really well. I think everyone at the court house likes him and is impressed with his knowledge base already.”
In other Supervisors news, County Conservation Director Bruce Haag gave an update on several topics including the new cabins at Littlefield. “There’s a lot of people questioning when they are going to have them open for rent. We are looking at next year, next spring. There’s just a lot of details with steps to be built and finishing the basements and getting the grass seeded and that kind of thing. There’s some sewer and water hook ups that still need to be completed.”
Dirt work began in 2020 and basements were poured in December 2021. Six of the cabins will be approximately 14 feet by 46 feet and sleep six people, with one larger cabin for an occupancy of 12-14 people. The cabins are located south of the boat dock.
