(Atlantic) Due to chemical issues, the Sunnyside Pool in Atlantic is closed for the rest of the day on Friday. They plan to re-open for Saturday, but Park and Rec staff suggests you check with the pool to make sure they are open before you attend.
Atlantic Parks and Recreation Director Bryant Rasmussen announced this morning that the pool season is winding down, schools are starting soon, and due to the lack of lifeguards, he is reducing the pool hours after Sunday, August 14.
Rasmussen says after Sunday, the pool will be open on the weekends, Saturday and Sunday, August 20 and 21st, and again on Saturday, August 27, and the last day, August 28.
Rasmussen says it was a “great pool season,” he thanks everyone for their support and looks forward to seeing everyone again in 2023.
