(Creston) Creston Police reported one arrest and one theft in its latest update.
Police arrested 42-year-old Julio Cesar Villapando-Castro of Creston at his residence early this morning. Officers transported Villapando-Castro to the Union County Jail for failing to appear on a Council Bluffs warrant for a probation violation. He is held on no bond while awaiting extradition to Council Bluffs.
Creston Police say Brady Dunmire reported someone stole his backpack out of his 1998 Jeep Cherokee while parked at his residence. Dunmire described the missing items as a Kline wire stripper, Nebo pen light, three sets of Allen Wrenches, one set of bits, and three college textbooks. The estimated loss is $250.00.
