(Fremont, Nebraska) Former Atlantic standout swimmer Anna Lowary is now setting records for Midlands University. This past season the sophomore set school and conference records and finished second in the national meet in the mile, earning all-American honors.
Lowary earned gold in the 500 and 200 at the Conference meet and finished the season with a runner-up finish in the mile.
Lowary trained hard this summer, and her focus is on the national meet.
Lowary currently holds Great Plains Conference Records in the 500 (5:07) and 200 Freestyle (1:55.20).
Midlands University starts the regular season on October 15 at Barton Community College.
