(Atlantic) The Atlantic Chamber Ambassadors were hosted by First Church of Christ on Thursday, July 28th, 2022. The Ambassadors were introduced to new staff and heard about the programs and goals for the church.
Daniel Langley was born and raised in Shenandoah, and after graduation in 2018, he attended Ozark Mission College where he majored in Youth Ministry. In February of 2022, Daniel accepted the position of Youth Pastor at FCC and moved to Atlantic where they soon welcomed a son, who is now 3 months old. Daniel shared that he has been welcomed to the FCC family with open arms by the many volunteers and helpful congregation. Daniel recently finished his first Vacation Bible School and learned a lot from that experience. Daniel is looking forward to the “Family Fun Day” to kick off back-to-school.
Jami Gates has attended FCC for her entire life, but she came on board as the Office Manager a little over a year ago. Colt Doherty, Lead Pastor, shared that Jami has a amazing ability to take an idea and bring it to life in every detail.
Colt’s main goal for the church is to be an active organization in the community by partnering with other businesses and organizations and completing impactful monthly service projects. His hope is that through these projects the membership can connect and service the people of Atlantic and the surrounding communities.
