(Red Oak) The Montgomery County Board of Supervisors this afternoon (Monday) appointed a new County Auditor.
Supervisor Chairman Mark Peterson says on a 5-0 vote; that the board appointed Jill Ozuna as the Montgomery County Auditor. Ozuna was born and raised in southwest Iowa, moved out of the area for a few years, and has moved back to the site.
Ozuna’s first day on the job is August 1.
Ozuna takes over for Stephanie Burke, who resigned last month to take a job as the Stanton School Districts’ business official, and School Board Secretary.
