(Nodaway County) A Mills County woman suffered serious injuries in a two-vehicle accident in Nodaway County, Missouri.
According to the Missouri State Patrol accident report, the accident happened at 8:15 p.m. Tuesday on Highway 71 in Nodaway County, seven miles north of Maryville. Authorities say 21-year-old Jordyn M. Miller of Glenwood suffered serious injuries in the crash.
Driving a southbound 2017 Ford pickup, Miller struck the left outside mirror of a vehicle towed by a southbound 2016 Ram pickup driven by 39-year-old Cory D. Money from Maryville. Miller’s pickup veered off the right side of the highway, went airborne over a creek, struck the ground on its wheels, crashed through a barbed wire fence, and came to rest in a cornfield facing east.
Nodaway County Ambulance transported Miller to the Mosaic Hospital in St. Joe, Missouri, for treatment of injuries.
The Nodaway County Sheriff’s Office and the Maryville Department of Public Safety assisted the Missouri State Patrol.
