(Pottawattamie Co.) The Pottawattamie County Sheriff’s Office arrested multiple individuals for Operating While Intoxicated over the Memorial Day weekend.
Tyzania Laisis Marlen Williams, 28, was arrested Sunday for OWI 1st Offense, Failure to Maintain Control of Motor Vehicle, and No Valid Drivers License. The charges stem from a call to the 40 mile marker of I-80 eastbound for a car that was following a vehicle too closely, unable to maintain lanes, and nearly side swiped multiple motorists on the Interstate.
Paul R Waggener, 67, was arrested on Friday after Deputies were called to the 57 mile marker of I-29 northbound for a reckless driver. Waggener was charged with OWI 1st Offense and Failure to Maintain Minimum Speed.
Skye Marie Kay Bentley, 20, was arrested following a traffic stop near Macedonia on Friday for OWI 1st Offense.
Alexandra Stroman, 30, was arrested on Saturday after Deputies were called to the 34 mile marker of I-80 eastbound for a possible impaired driver. Stroman was charged with OWI 1st Offense.
Saw Kaw Thaw, 36, was arrested on Friday after Deputies were called to a ‘check the welfare’ call in the 100 block of West Crocker Street in Avoca. Thaw was charged with OWI 1st Offense.
Thomas Lux Luis, 49, was arrested Monday for OWI 1st Offense. Deputies were called to the 66 mile marker of Interstate 29 southbound where a caller observed a white pickup truck traveling south that could not maintain control.
In other activity, Becky Marie Stander, 62, was arrested on Sunday for Criminal Mischief 5th after damaging property at the jail.
Marcus McCoy Masoner Jr., 19, was arrested following a traffic stop in Neola on Friday for Driving While Barred.
Kyle Steven Johnson, 35, was arrested following a traffic stop in Council Bluffs on Monday for Driving While Barred.
