(Creston) Creston Police report six arrests and three incident reports.
On May 27, Creston Police arrested 36-year-old Douglas Edward Woodward III, of Creston, with Possession of a Controlled Substance, 2nd Offense-Methamphetamine, and a Union County Warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of driving while barred. Officers transported Woodward to the Union County Jail and released them on a $4000 cash or surety bond.
On May 28, Creston Police arrested 25-year-old Aaron Christopher Ortiz of Creston at his residence for 3rd-degree harassment. Officers transported Ortiz to the Union County Jail and released him on a promise to appear.
On May 29, Police arrested 18-year-old Gunnar Lee Millslagle of Cromwell for possession of a controlled substance 1st offense-marijuana… Authorities released him on a promise to appear.
On May 30, officers arrested 23-year-old Mariel Kaleen Jones of Creston for OWI. Officers transported Jones to the Union County jail and later released her on a $1,000 cash bond.
On May 30, Creston Police arrested 59-year-old Scott Richard Phipps of Creston at the Law Enforcement Center or OWI. Phipps posted the $1,000 bond and was released.
Creston Police received three incident reports. Gary Paul McNichols reported a vehicle break-in and the loss of a Crescent Tool Box with tools inside. The estimated loss is 200.00. Gail Freihage of Creston said a broken window in his van parked at his residence, and the damage is estimated at 200.00. Cook video reported someone drilled a hole in the bottom of a gas tank on one of their trucks. The loss is estimated at $1,500.
