(Harlan) The Shelby County Sheriff’s Office reports five arrests from May 17 to May 22.
On May 17, Deputies arrested 23-year-old Clinton Paul Robinson of Shelby following a traffic stop on Border Street in Shelby, Iowa. Authorities transported Robinson to the Shelby County Jail on charges of OWI 1st, Possession or Carrying of Dangerous Weapons While Intoxicated, and Open Container.
On May 18, Deputies arrested 36-year-old Zachary Thomas Sheffler of Harlan following a traffic stop on Maple Road on two active arrest warrants for; 3rd – degree burglary, 2nd – degree theft, 2nd-degree criminal mischief, ongoing criminal conduct, gathering where controlled substances are used, possession of a specific property, possession of drug paraphernalia, prohibited acts, failure to affix a drug tax stamp, and a controlled substance violation. Additionally, deputies charged Scheffler with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia from the traffic stop.
On May 18, Deputies arrested 31-year-old Kaleigh Marie Turner of Harlan stemming from a traffic stop on Maple Road. Officers transported Turner to the Shelby County Jail and charged her with prohibited acts, possession of a controlled substance, and driving while barred.
On May 19, Shelby County Deputies arrested 32-year-old Amanda Louise Lavender of Kiron following a traffic stop on Highway 37 and Juniper Road. Authorities transported Lavender to the Shelby County Jail and charged her with driving while revoked and failure to provide financial liability.
On May 22, Deputies arrested 28-year-old Brett Scott Wilke of Harlan following a traffic stop on F58 and Highway 59. Deputies transported Wilke to the Shelby County Jail on charges of OWI 2nd offense, speeding, and improper lane change.
