(Adair Co.) Four people were arrested on drug charges in Adair County.
The Stuart Police Department arrested Derrick Jacquay Roberson, 43, of Colorado Springs, Colorado, on May 5th for Possession with Intent to Distribute and Failure to Affix a Drug Tax Stamp. The arrest stems from a traffic stop on Interstate 80. During the stop, a probable cause search was conducted and multiple Ziplock bags containing a large quantity of marijuana as well as THC edibles were located. Roberson was held in the Adair County Jail on $10,000 cash or surety bond.
The Adair County Sheriff’s Office arrested John Leroy Pace Jr., 51, of Creston, on May 7th for Driving While Barred and Possession of a Controlled Substance (Marijuana) 1st Offense. The arrest stems from a traffic stop on Henry A Wallace Road. During the stop, Pace admitted to having a “dugout” container containing marijuana. Pace was held on $2,000 cash or surety bond.
Keondre Laron Evans, 20, of Omaha, Nebraska, was arrested May 3rd for Possession of a Controlled Substance (Marijuana) 1st Offense. The arrest stems from a traffic stop on Interstate 80. During a search of the vehicle, a plastic bag containing a green leafy substance was located in a backpack. An ID badge was located in the same backpack with a photo and name of Evans. Evans was held on $1,000 cash or surety bond. During this same stop, Jayla Lynn Walker, 20, of Omaha, Nebraska was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance (Marijuana) 1st Offense. Two small plastic bags containing a green leafy substance were located in a purse, and the purse had the ID of Walker. Walker was held on $1,000 cash or surety bond.
The Adair County Sheriff’s Office also arrested Jason Edward Caldwell, 50, of Stuart, on May 2nd on a warrant. He was held on $2,000 cash or surety bond.
Charles William Walker, 35, of Council Bluffs, was arrested May 5th on a warrant for Burglary 3rd Degree. He was held on $5,000 cash only bond.
Dixie Dee Dukes, 49, of Fontanelle, was cited following a traffic stop on May 7th for OWI 1st Offense and released.
