(Montgomery County) Red Oak Fire Chief John Bruce said on Monday at 2:54 p.m. the Villisca FD, Stanton FD, and Grant FD were dispatched to 185th & W Avenue for a brush pile fire that had extended into grass and a field containing cornstalks. Fireground operations were terminated at 3:45 p.m. No injuries reported.
