(Atlantic) Sara Harris is looking forward to filling the vacancy of Cass County Auditor. The Atlantic native has spent the past seven years in the Human Resource Department with Elkhart Plastics Inc.
The Cass County Board of Supervisors selected Harris from the list of applicants, and Chairman Steve Baier administered the Oath of Office to Harris this morning.
Harris takes over for Dale Sunderman, who amended his original resignation from April 15 to April 5. Sunderman served the county as an elected official for 37-years.
Sara and her husband, Nick, live in Atlantic and have two children, Collin, 13, and Elliott, 8.
