(Avoca) The CAM boys started the golf season with a win on Tuesday. The Cougars downed Exira-EHK and AHSTW in Avoca.
CAM’s Chase Jahde was medalist with a 42. Runner-up for the Cougars was Seth Hensley with a 48. Rounding out CAM’s lineup were Gavin Jessen with a 50, Carson Cary 53, Bradyn Bohnsack 57, and Logan Lawrence 58. CAM shot 193 as a team.
The runner-up squad was Exira-EHK with 237. Trey Petersen led the Spartans shooting 48. Davis Larsen submitted a 57. Other Exira-EHK scores included: Dane Paulsen 65, Quinn White 67, and Aiden Potts 67.
The AHSTW boys shot 277. Nate Jorgensen led the team with a 60. Tyson Osbahr submitted a 64. Justin Freeman shot 69. Logan Heller posted an 84.
Neither AHSTW or Exira-EHK had any girls golfers. CAM’s Reese Snyder was medalist with a 57. Mady McKee was the runner-up with a 61.
