(Des Moines) The Iowa Department of Public Health’s weekly data shows 2,267 additional positive cases of COVID-19 in Region 4 from Wednesday, January 5 through Wednesday, January 12.
That total is 1,182 more positive tests than last week’s total of 1,085.
Over the past seven days, the Iowa Department of Public Health reports 1,349 new positive tests in Pottawattamie County, 191 in Crawford County, 89 in Page County, 124 in Harrison County, 152 in Mills County, 82 in Cass County, 102 in Shelby County, 66 in Montgomery County, 48 in Fremont County, 49 in Audubon County, and 15 in Adams County.
IDPH also reports three additional deaths in Pottawattamie County, two in Mills County, and one in Harrison County.

In Region 1, the IDPH reports 109 additional positive cases of COVID-19 in Guthrie County, (2,086 total positive tests) (41 deaths). The IDPH reports 35 additional positive cases in Adair County, (1,551 total positive tests) (44 deaths).
