(Audubon) The Audubon School Board will meet in special session Monday morning to discuss the Federal Vaccine Mandate Policy.
Superintendent Eric Trager explained that there is a Federal Vaccine Mandate for employers that have over 100 employees and that applies to Audubon School District. So, the School Board Association has put out a policy for the Board’s to approve to implement that mandate.
Trager said they will be watching what is happening in the Supreme Court as they are hearing oral arguments on this mandate on Friday.
Trager said they know that there are strong opinions on both sides of the issue with this mandate, but the fact of the matter is that if it’s going to be enforced, they need to comply.
The meeting will be held at 7:00 a.m. on Monday, January 10th in the Board Room at the High School.
