(Creston) Creston Police arrested a Polk County man on drug possession charges. On Tuesday, Officer’s arrested 19-year old Stiller Niles Melton-McCardy of Des Moines at the Creston/Union County Law Enforcement Center for Possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance, Marijuana, 1st offense. Authorities transported Melton-McCardy to the Union County Jail and released him on bond.
*Police arrested 19-year old Amber Danielle Lacina of Shannon City on Tuesday at the Summit Boat Ramp. Authorities charged Lacina with possession of drug paraphernalia. Officer’s cited and released her at the scene.
*Creston Police arrested 24-year old Adam Edward Lee Austin of Creston this morning (Wednesday) for interference with officials’ acts and assault with a dangerous weapon. Officers transported him to the Union County Jail and held him on a $2,300.00 cash bond.
* Brett Street Power Washing Services, located at 205 S Elm, reports someone cut a padlock on one of their trailers and took a brand new Red and Black Predictor Generator and two gas cans. The estimated value of the items is $590.00.
