(Council Bluffs) A Cass County man is going to prison for Possession with Intent to Distribute Methamphetamine.
The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Iowa reports 39-year old Christopher M. Jespersen of Atlantic was sentenced on Monday to 10-years in prison, followed by five years of supervised release. Additionally, Jespersen is sentenced to serve 15 months after his 120-month sentence for a prior conviction of violating the terms of his supervised release.
Officer’s stopped Jespersen in Dallas County for a traffic violation. During a search of his vehicle, authorities recovered over 100 grams of Methamphetamine along with digital scales and other drug distribution paraphernalia. Jespersen pleaded guilty to the offense in June 2021, according to court documents.
The Dallas County Sheriff’s Office, Mid-Iowa Narcotics Task Force, and the Iowa Division of Narcotics Enforcement investigated the case.
