(Cass County) Funds are being raised for new goat stalls at the Cass County Fairgrounds.
Ryan Smith, Cass County Goat Assistant Superintendent, said the 4-H & FFA goat program has grown tremendously over the past decade. For the program to sustain and grow, they need the proper equipment for the livestock and exhibitors at the fair.
Ryan Smith said their total project budget is $12,000.
If anyone would like to donate, you can make a check out to the Cass County Fair Association. Checks can be mailed to Windy Smith at 53566 Highway 92, Griswold, Iowa, 51535. Windy will deliver those checks to the Extension Office. The Cass County Fair Association is a not-for-profit organization, so all donations are tax deductible.
