(Area) The Iowa High School Athletic Association and Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union have released more information on postseason cross country.
State Qualifying Meets will be held for 1A and 2A teams on Thursday, October 21st. 3A and 4A schools will qualify for state on Wednesday, October 20th.
Panorama and SW Valley are each host sites in Class 1A. Among the teams in Panora are ACGC, AHSTW, Audubon, CAM, Exira-EHK, and Nodaway Valley. Immediate Coverage Area Teams going to Corning will be Griswold and Riverside.
SE Valley, Gowrie is the closest site for Class 2A teams.
Most of the Class 3A squads from Southwest Iowa will head to Winterset. This includes Atlantic and Harlan. There are a couple of exceptions such as Glenwood and Denison-Schleswig that go to LeMars.
4A schools in western Iowa are split between Ankeny (Lewis Central) and Indianola (Abraham Lincoln and Thomas Jefferson).
